In 1607, a ship of British settlers led by Governor Ratcliffe arrives in the New World in search of gold. Among them is Captain John Smith, who soon encounters Pocahontas, the spirited daughter of Chief Powhatan. As tensions rapidly mount between the English settlers and the Native American tribe, their connection becomes the only hope of preventing a war.

Upscaled to 4K UHD (2160p) using Topaz from a clean 1080p source. The goal was to sharpen the line art and background details without ruining the original look. A touch of grain dithering was added to avoid that flat, artificial plastic effect on solid colors. Encoded in x265 10-bit SDR.

Upscale 4K UHD (2160p) sous Topaz à partir d'un master 1080p propre. Le but était d'affiner le trait des dessins et les décors sans dénaturer l'image. J'ai ajouté un peu de grain dithering pour éviter l'effet plastique tout lisse sur les aplats de couleur. Encodage final en x265 10 bits SDR.

A complete MULTI VF2 release including the original English DTS-HD MA 5.1 and its audio commentary. Audiophile 24-bit stereo downmixes (HDS Master 2.0) are available for both English and VFQ.

Note on French VFF (VHS Hi-Fi):

The French track was digitized from an authentic VHS tape, slowed down to match the 23.976 fps film framerate with proper pitch, and cleaned up. Please note: on this VHS track, the end credits song is in English, whereas it is sung in French on the DTS-HD HRA track.
Full English, French forced, French full, and commentary subtitles are included.
