This is a tale of a CAD sounding fella (Humphrey Bogart plays a character
in 1942 Casablanca - from America - who uses a condescending tone of language
in suggesting his former flame in romance - played by Ms Ingrid Bergman lacked
his notion of pure spirit in some regards because he thought she had taken off on
him after perhaps just tiring of the relationship.
The truth is that her war hero husband whom she had though died in captivity
returned from action and they reunited.
It is at this point that Chivalry has to save the day as Bogarts character
is called upon to come to selfless aid in favour of the amorous couple
who they are as husband and wife - nice wartime story with a scene
where the German officers have to compete for the right to be heard in singing
patriotic songs with the French populace who quite clearly seem to have a win
here.
