Directed by Sir David Lean

This movie starring Sir Peter O'Toole shows a stark contrast in the peoples of the middle
east going from the desert tribes to the euro dispora related men as in Lebanon as it
is a different world going from one extreme to the other.

This is part of what the movie seeks to bring out - Lawrence of Arabia's character
says by the end of this movie "he no longer seeks any friends from this part of
Arabia - mainly from the Saudi desert and tribes related) while making no effort
to remind viewers that the folks he would no doubt have preferred were just over
yonder but then there would have been no story tp tell as this one does in what
it does seek to convey and does do so effectively I might add, He is speaking for
his own mind, but he does use words in the movie which suggest he is out to make
a point in what he feels about the people in the culturally tribal areas of old
as depicted, and in his extreme dialogue as scripted

But then when we see pictures of Trump dong the "Sword dance" with the peoples
similar to the characters portrayed in this movie, you have to wonder why it is one
part rather than the other where he focusses his attention on bestowing riches while
alienating and depriving the rest where so many great souls are and have graced our areas
here such as the former Leader of the Newfoundland province Sir Joe Ghiz who was a great
Premier here - Italian roots from Lebanese descent of course - I swear ! Ha ha
