"Asian Hawk leads a mercenary team to recover several lost artifacts from the Old Summer Palace, the bronze heads of the twelve Chinese Zodiac animals which were sacked by the French and British armies from the imperial Summer Palace in Beijing in 1860. Assisted by a Chinese student and a Parisian woman, Hawk stops at nothing to accomplish the mission."

Jackie Chan set a all-time record with 15 screen credits in this movie....as he wrote, produced, directed, starred and did 11 other jobs on this movie. The previous record was 11. In this one Chan plays a combo James Bond/Benjamin Gates type adventurer as he searches the world for a set of mystic artifacts - 12 bronze heads of the animals from the Chinese zodiac.

The movie offers up some good action scenes...and even though Chan is getting older....he proves in this one he can still handle a very physical role. The version I watched was a horrible English dubbed one....and that made the acting appear worse than it probably actually was. Final thought: This is a nice Jackie Chan movie....you get action but you also get some pretty silly scenes too. I think the younger you are the more you will enjoy this movie.

The ending credits might be better than the movie. First you get some outtakes from the movie....and they show what a beating Chan takes while making his movies. Then you get a walk through the career of the best stunts and fights of Chan's career. I think after watch those stunts you will have to agree with me....that it is amazing that Chan is still so healthy after all of those years of making movies.
