Its a murder investigation, of a local Frenchwoman, involving high ranking German Officers
including at the level of General all embroiled in an affair to find out whodunit and who is
trying to cover it up. Omar Sharif is picked for some inexplicable reason for the role of
"investigating German Officer" Peter O'Toole's performance carries the day ultimately
with lots of interest in how he handles it all - to the final outcome that waits the audience
who watch in some suspense of a thriller movie of sorts I suppose.
