It is a sad piece of movie making, made by Irish and Spanish efforts in funding
and production.

Essentially it says that when sadistic brutality in the depiction of the SS mindset
being portrayed are in evidence, good men must realize that reason wont work
nor appeals to conscience where we find it not. It takes force, on the part of an honest
legitimate regime over an oppressive minded tyranny ruling instead. And in such
regards the teacher played by Sir Aidan Quinn of Ireland comes to the children
of this boys reformatory styled boarding school to save the day.
