Plot Summary
Asian Hawk (Jackie Chan) and his bumbling sidekick are sent on a quest through Europe to find a mysterious treasure held by a shadowy organization of monks. The film follows Asian Hawk, a globe-trotting adventurer and treasure hunter who becomes embroiled in a dangerous mission to recover a set of ancient weapons known as the Armour of God. After his former girlfriend is kidnapped by a mysterious cult, Asian Hawk is drawn into a perilous race involving ancient artefacts, elaborate traps, dangerous enemies, and spectacular stunts.

This is our BluRay x265 encode of Armour of God (Original name: 龍兄虎弟; Jyutping: Lung hing fu dai) , a Hong Kong action-adventure film starring Jackie Chan. This is based of the 2026 88 Films Remaster. This replaces the one I did some years back, so you can discard that now and I think will be last version for a while unless we get an 8K remaster.

Trivia: Armour of God was directed by and stars Jackie Chan, who also co-wrote the film and performed its extensive stunt work. The film was inspired in part by the adventure-film style of *Indiana Jones* and combines martial arts with globe-trotting action, comedy and elaborate stunt sequences. The production became particularly notable for one of Chan's most serious on-set accidents: during filming of a sequence in Yugoslavia, he attempted a stunt involving a jump from a castle wall to a tree and suffered a severe head injury when the branch broke. The accident resulted in Chan being rushed to hospital and undergoing emergency surgery.
