Bear, a music store employee, is desperately in love with his childhood friend Nikki but doesn't know how to tell her without ruining their friendship. When he finds a mysterious toy called the One Wish Willow and uses it to wish for her love, it seems to work — but Nikki soon begins acting strangely obsessive, watching him from dark corners and growing frantic whenever he's away, forcing Bear to confront a horrifying price for getting exactly what he wished for.
