Build practical skills in sensor characterization, signal processing, data acquisition, and instrumentation systems
What you'll learn
⚡ Analyze and design fundamental signal conditioning circuits including operational amplifier-based differentiators, integrators, instrumentation amplifiers.
⚡ Understand the operating principles and characteristics of common industrial sensors
⚡ Perform practical sensor interfacing and data acquisition tasks using laboratory instruments, DSOs, DAQ hardware, and LabVIEW software
⚡ Develop complete sensor measurement systems by integrating sensors, signal conditioning circuits
Requirements
❗ Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits. Familiarity with Ohm's law, Kirchhoff's laws, and fundamental electronic components. Basic understanding of operational amplifiers is helpful but not mandatory, as a revision module is included. A desire to learn practical sensor interfacing and measurement techniques. Access to a computer for viewing LabVIEW and DAQ nstrations (optional but recommended). No prior experience with sensors, data acquisition systems, or LabVIEW is required.
