Business Is Business
ComedyDrama
Dutch prostitutes Greta and Nel cruise the Amsterdam red light district, seeking clients to involve in their elaborately staged fetish fantasies, be it disciplinarian headmistresses, surgeons cutting open a willing patient, or even dressing up as chickens, the duo show their expertise in role-playing again and again and again. In reality, Nel is trapped in an abusive marriage and Greta is forever in the middle of their confrontations but her life takes a positive upturn when she becomes involved with a client.

Synopsis:
Based on the scandalous, best-selling satirical novels by Albert Mol, this energetic comedy tracks the chaotic professional and romantic escapades of Greet and Nel, two sharp-witted, fiercely independent sex workers navigating the neon-lit canals of Amsterdam’s Red Light District. While Greet takes an upbeat, highly professional approach to satisfying the bizarre and theatrical kinks of her wealthy bourgeois clientele, her roommate Nel suffers under the thumb of Bob, her deadbeat boyfriend-turned-pimp. When both women unexpectedly cross paths with genuine, conventional love prospects, they are forced to comically yet movingly balance their lucrative underground careers with their desires for domestic normalcy.
