Synopsis:
In contemporary the West Bank, two fiercely independent but estranged Palestinian sisters, Mariam and Noura, are abruptly brought together by the sudden death of their elderly father. Upon discovering that their father left a substantial, life-changing sum of money forgotten in his personal bank account, the sisters are hit with a harsh reality: under local restrictive patriarchal inheritance laws, the vast majority of the wealth will automatically legally pass to their estranged, deeply unhelpful brother, leaving them with pennies. Refusing to be marginalized, the sisters forge a desperate, highly illegal pact to execute a daring financial heist against the banking system to withdraw the money before the death certificate is officially processed, risking everything to reclaim their digital sovereignty and economic survival.
