Plot
As the war between the Capitol and the districts reaches its peak, Katniss Everdeen embarks on a perilous mission

Trama
La resistenza si sta facendo sotto. I distretti ribelli sono ormai tutti riuniti sotto un'unica bandiera, quella
dei ribelli, e sta per iniziare la marcia verso Panem, prenderla equivale a destituire il regime. Katniss è l'arma
numero uno della resistenza, non per le sue doti di stratega o per la sua abilità sul campo, ma per la sua
immagine. Prima sfruttata come volto simbolo dell'intrattenimento e della distrazione di massa, ora è invece
diventata il corpo della ribellione, l'unica a cui la massa dia ascolto, l'unica a cui tutti credano anche se la
sua immagine è stata continuamente manipolata. Per questo motivo decide di abbandonare i ribelli (che non sono
meglio del regime) e di cercare di trovare la sua vendetta e uccidere il presidente Snow da sola. Ora tutti la
vogliono morta però: la vuole morta Peeta, che ha subito il lavaggio del cervello; la vuole morta il presidente
Snow; la vuole morta la resistenza, perché diventerebbe un martire e unirebbe ancora di più le truppe.
