Synopsis:
Two young Czech women, both named Marie (Marie I and Marie II), reach a sudden, playful, and cynical conclusion while sunbathing: since the entire world has turned thoroughly corrupt and spoiled, they might as well be completely spoiled too. This realization triggers a sensory, wildly anarchic series of surreal pranks, destructive escapades, and psychological games across Prague. From systematically destroying lavish bourgeois banquets and tricking older wealthy suitors into paying for elaborate dinners to deconstructing high art, the duo gleefully wages an unapologetic, aesthetically breathtaking war against social conformity, patriarchy, and authoritarian consumerism.

• Video Crop: Meticulously transcoded from the pristine retail Blu-ray master using an advanced x265 HEVC 10-bit (Main 10) profile. Hard black pillarboxes on both flanks have been mathematically cropped out to display the film in its pure, native 1.37:1 Academy Standard aspect ratio ($1472 \times 1072$) at a constant 24.000 FPS. Custom psy-rd limits were applied to flawlessly capture Chytilová's legendary, rapidly shifting color filters and collage analog visual textures without blocking.
