Synopsis:
Sibiu, Romania, December 1989. As the brutal communist regime of Nicolae Ceaușescu is collapsing, a chaotic and violent power struggle erupts on the streets between the regular army, civilian protestors, and the notorious secret police force, the Securitate. Following a desperate, bloody assault on a local militia station, an army captain arbitrarily rounds up hundreds of individuals—including regular policemen, civilian suspects, and covert agents—and imprisons them inside an empty, deep military swimming pool. Accused of being mysterious counter-revolutionary "terrorists," the detainees must survive shifting military allegiances, intense paranoia, and systemic lawlessness in a claustrophobic purgatory until the dust of political upheaval settles.

• Video: Transcoded into next-generation AV1 via libsvtav1 using a high-fidelity 10-bit (Main 10) profile. Hard black letterboxes have been mathematically cropped out to present the film in its pristine, native wide theatrical 1.85:1 aspect ratio (1920x1024) at a constant 24.000 FPS. Film Grain Synthesis (FGS) was precisely calibrated to preserve the gritty, tense atmosphere of the handheld cinematography while keeping the final file size highly optimized.
• Audio: Retains the authentic, non-dubbed Romanian 6-channel (5.1 Surround) audio mix, encoded in advanced libopus for a highly transparent, dynamic battlefield soundstage.
• Subtitles: Features a clean, timing-corrected embedded English text-based subtitle track (SRT / UTF-8 Plain Text), flagged as Default for immediate playback compatibility across all devices.
• Metadata Cleaned: Fully processed under exact container bit-perfection flags. All third-party watermarks, tracking IDs, advertising headers, and non-original language audio streams have been physically purged from the Matroska structure.
