Synopsis:
Set against the turbulent backdrop of the Balkan ethnic conflicts in the 1990s, the film uses a distinct circular narrative structured into three interlocking parts: "Words," "Faces," and "Pictures." The plot follows a young Macedonian monk who harbors an Albanian fugitive girl accused of murder; a London-based photo editor trapped in a fracturing marriage who experiences sudden violence; and a disillusioned, award-winning war photographer who returns to his native Macedonian village only to discover that ethnic hatred has weaponized his former neighbors and childhood friends against one another.

Release Notes:
• Video: Encoded into the next-generation AV1 format via libsvtav1 using a 10-bit (Main 10) profile. Formatted at its native 1.85:1 theatrical aspect ratio (1920x1024) at a constant 23.976 FPS. Film Grain Synthesis (FGS) was enabled to systematically analyze and reconstruct the original organic film grain layer, maximizing structural fidelity at a highly optimized bitrate.
• Audio: Features the native Macedonian 6-channel (5.1 Surround) audio mix encoded in advanced libopus at 266 kbps to preserve the complete dynamic range of the theatrical soundscape.
• Subtitles: Includes an embedded English UTF-8 plain-text subtitle track configured as the Default stream.
