Trama
Nella primavera del 1943, dopo lo sbarco delle truppe americane in Sicilia, il generale americano Briggs manda un
commando di guastatori a minare il ponte: l'ordine è farlo saltare se il nemico si facesse vedere, altrimenti
servirà per far passare le truppe! Da parte italiana, il colonnello che comanda le operazioni (Eros Pagni) riceve
un ordine diverso: far saltare il ponte e resistere. Ma non volendo far saltare un pezzo di storia antica del
paese, modifica l'ordine in uno uguale a quello del generale Briggs; comunque, poiché l'Italia è sempre l'Italia,
gli viene inviata la Banda M.; lui crede che sia la Banda della Morte, invece a presentarsi è ciò che lui stesso
definirà "una banda si, ma musicale! E ridotta! Male!!"
