Trama
Il film si ispira al conflitto armato che nel 1997 cambiò per sempre il modus operandi del Los Angeles Police
Department. Quattro spietati criminali armati e ben addestrati assalgono la Bank of America, trasformando 26
persone, tra impiegati e clienti, in ostaggi ad alto rischio. Le squadre speciali della LAPD e della SWAT entrano
in azione con il supporto dell’Interpol che da tempo era sulle tracce dei quattro rapinatori. Ma sarà l’agente
Chandler (Nicolas Cage) a prendere il comando della negoziazione che si rivelerà la più lunga e sanguinaria della
storia americana.
