Plot
While romancing Palmer, a much younger schoolteacher, plastic surgeon Danny Maccabee enlists his loyal assistant
Katherine to pretend to be his soon to be ex-wife, in order to cover up a careless lie. When more lies backfire,
Katherine's kids become involved, and everyone heads off for a weekend in Hawaii that will change all their lives.
Trama
Danny è un rinomato chirurgo plastico di Beverly Hills. Dopo che il suo matrimonio è finito ancora prima di
principiare, ha imparato a fare della fede al dito un'esca per attrarre le belle donne per una notte,
impietosendole con i suoi falsi racconti di come la moglie lo maltratti o lo tradisca. Quando, però, incontra
Palmer e s'invaghisce seriamente, non dimentica certo di togliersi l'anello. Peccato che lei lo scovi comunque,
nella tasca dei pantaloni. Danny, a questo punto, può trarsi d'impaccio solo in un modo: inventando un'ex moglie e
cedendo alla richiesta di Palmer di fare la sua conoscenza. La prescelta è la donna che è sempre stata al fianco di
Danny, nel bene e nel male, la sua assistente sul lavoro, Katherine, madre single di due teneri e furbi marmocchi.
