The UHD has the wrong video bitstream fps (23976/1000) which causes a bug on MakeMKV rips; However, it's easily fixed by demuxing with eac3to or dgdemux, changing the BL and EL to 24000/1001 and finally using dovi_tool to mux both BL and EL. This results in a perfectly fine merge with the RPU and EL in sync. Afterwards, scene cuts were checked and the EL demuxed etc. The UHD has DV FEL with CM v4.0.
The UHD comes with an Atmos remix, a duplicate 5.1 mix which is identical to the compatibility track (not the original 5.1 surround mix) and a downmixed LPCM 2.0 track. In order to get the original 5.1 surround mix, the options are the Studio Canal FRA/GER Blu-rays or the Imprint AUS Blu-ray as ITA Blu-ray track is just a downmix from the previous Lionsgate 7.1 DTS-HD MA remix. The DTS-HD MA 7.1 remix is worse than the Atmos remix, so there's no point in adding it. Between the FRA and GER, the FRA has less cutoff and no inept filtering on the center. Both FRA and AUS are extactly the same track; however, since Imprint's AUS track is 24-bit, it was synced with three edits to compensate frame differences.
Synced the director's commentary from the NTSC DVD as it's better than the AUS track which is bloated and has more cutoff. Also synced the isolated score from said DVD. Synced the two exclusive commentaries from the AUS Blu-ray as they were very informative; they had to be edited to compensate for some missing frames.
5.1 Mix Comparisons: Slow.pics
Commentary Comparisons: Slow.pics
All additional PGS were synced with edits to compensate for the frames differences and tonemapped to same % of brightness of UHD. The Italian Blu-ray subs were for the Italian dub, so they were discarded. Fortunately, the web has the proper Italian sub. All additional srts were also synced.
Named chapters from the Artisan NTSC DVD, as they are much better than Lionsgate's 2009 ones; synced to I/P-frames of remux.
