Plot Summary
As the threat of giant unidentified lifeforms known as "S-Class Species" worsens in Japan, a silver giant appears from beyond Earth's atmosphere.

This is based off the Japanese 3 disc set, hence the generous amounts of extras. the modern reimagining of the iconic tokusatsu hero created by Eiji Tsuburaya. Audio is Japanese Dolby Digital Plus 7.1 with Dolby Atmos with an English 5.1 Dolby Digital Dub. Some trivia: Hideaki Anno is a lifelong fan of the original Ultraman series and previously directed Shin Godzilla, making Shin Ultraman part of the unofficial “Shin Japan Heroes” line of reimagined classics.
