⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a straight encode from the Criterion DVD. I wanted to make sure the original 4:3 framing and visual style (the amazing sets and costumes by Christian Bérard) were kept exactly as intended.
For the audio, everything is untouched from the disc. The default is the original French Mono. I also kept the alternative 5.1 track which is the 1994 opera by Philip Glass (he composed it specifically to sync with the actors' lips on screen), along with the two audio commentaries.

Pré-traitement : Rip fait à partir du DVD NTSC Criterion. J'ai appliqué un detelecine (IVTC) pour annuler l'entrelacement et retrouver la vraie cadence cinéma de 23.976 fps.
Mastering : Export en format sans perte FFV1.
Encodage : x265 10-bit via HandBrake en RF 18.0 (preset Slow).
⚠️ NOTE IMPORTANTE : L'idée était de proposer ce classique dans les meilleures conditions possibles. L'encodage respecte le format 4:3 d'origine pour mettre en valeur le travail incroyable de Christian Bérard sur les décors et costumes.
Côté son, tout vient directement du DVD Criterion. La piste par défaut est le Mono français d'origine. J'ai aussi laissé la piste 5.1 contenant l'opéra de Philip Glass (composé en 1994 pour se synchroniser avec les lèvres des acteurs) et les deux pistes de commentaires audio.
