Plot

Trama
The Running Man è il programma televisivo più seguito al mondo: un reality show estremo in
cui i concorrenti, chiamati “Runner”, devono rispettare una sola regola per restare vivi:
fuggire per 30 giorni, in diretta TV, braccati da killer professionisti, detti
“Cacciatori”, mentre il pubblico, incollato agli schermi, esulta a ogni esecuzione. Ben
Richards (Glen Powell) non è un eroe. È un uomo qualunque, costretto a una scelta
impossibile: entrare nel gioco per salvare la figlia malata. A convincerlo è Dan Killian
(Josh Brolin), il carismatico e spietato produttore dello show, maestro nel trasformare la
sofferenza in spettacolo, la paura in share, la morte in intrattenimento. Ma Ben non segue
il copione. Corre, lotta, resiste. E contro ogni previsione diventa un idolo: il pubblico
lo acclama, gli ascolti volano. Più il successo cresce, più il gioco si fa mortale. Ora
