Dieci anni dopo lo spettacolo di Londra, un trio di giovani maghi (Charlie, Bosco Leroy e June Rouclere) mette in scena un finto spettacolo di magia dei Quattro Cavalieri tramite deepfake e ologrammi, dove svuotano il portafoglio del proprietario corrotto di un exchange di criptovalute e distribuiscono i fondi rubati tra i partecipanti. Dopo lo spettacolo, i tre vengono inaspettatamente avvicinati da J. Daniel Atlas, uno dei Cavalieri originali, il quale li recluta per un piano apparentemente trasmessogli dall'Occhio, la società magica segreta, tramite una carta dei tarocchi: rubare "il Cuore", il diamante più grande del mondo. Il diamante è in possesso di Veronika Vanderberg, la direttrice di una compagnia di diamanti sudafricana fondata da suo padre, un ex nazista che ha usato l'attività per riciclare denaro per conto di criminali di guerra. Nel frattempo Veronika, poco dopo aver concluso un affare, riceve una telefonata da uno sconosciuto che usa un alteratore di voce, che minaccia di denunciare le attività criminali della sua compagnia se non gli consegna il diamante.
Ten years after the Horsemen's last performance, three young illusionists — Charlie Gees, Bosco LeRoy, and June Rouclere — impersonate the Horsemen using deepfakes and holograms to drain a corrupt cryptocurrency exchange owner's wallet and share the stolen funds. They are approached by the real J. Daniel Atlas — the foreman of the Horsemen — who reveals he was sent by the Eye, a secret society of magicians, via a tarot card to recruit them for a mission to steal the largest diamond called the "Heart Diamond" from Veronika Vanderberg, the head of a South African diamond company formed by her late father that provides money laundering services for criminals. Meanwhile, Veronika receives a phone call from a man who threatens to expose her crimes unless she delivers the Diamond to him.
