La nostra storia racconta la vicenda di Lorenzo, un Ministro della repubblica che sta andando in pensione e decide di organizzare una festa memorabile invitando i suoi colleghi parlamentari, senatori, ministri e alti prelati. Durante l’inizio della festa però accade qualcosa di inaspettato che sconvolgerà completamente i piani del nostro Ministro e che lo farà catapultare, come in una realtà parallela, nel suo passato dove rincontrera’ i suoi vecchi amici e il suo vecchio amore (Nancy Brilli) abbandonati 25 anni prima, dopo essere stato eletto.
