De voormalig verslaafde Scott is volledig gedegenereerd en verstoten door zijn familie. Onder druk van de geest van zijn overleden moeder keert hij terug naar huis, in de hoop de relatie met zijn familie weer te herstellen. Hij pakt een zak pillen en marihuana en vertrekt naar Shreveport. Helaas staat Katherine, de vrouw van zijn broer en tevens Scott's jeugdliefde, hem in de weg, wat uiteindelijk leidt tot een reünie met seksuele spanningen en hilariteit.
